Πώς να σε πω;
Ελευθερία, Freedom, Liberta!
Κι αν θα σε πω, Κίνηση, Λόγο, Μουσική,
κι αν Επιστήμη θα σε πω, Ιατρική, Φιλοσοφία,
το ίδιο πρόσωπο θα βλέπω στον καθρέφτη,
Εγώ, ένας Θεραπευτής, Πολεμιστής και Ποιητής,
που πάσχισα πολύ για να κερδίσω
την αναγνώριση, αυτών που Σε λατρεύουν.
Τίποτα πιο πολύ δεν λαχταρούσα στη ζωή μου
και τίποτα λιγότερο δεν πάσχισα για να αποκτήσω.
Αν το κατάφερα, η Ιστορία θα το δείξει.
Κάποια στιγμή, Εγώ θα φύγω, Εσύ θα μείνεις,
κι άλλοι πολλοί μετά από μένα θα πασχίσουν
να Σε λατρέψουν, δίνοντας και τη ζωή τους,
σΥ αυτό το ασταμάτητο στροβίλισμα του χρόνου,
ενός αέναου χορού, Ενέργειας και Ύλης.

Ελευθερία, Freedom, Liberta!
And if I call you Mouvement, Word, Music,
And if a science I shall call you Medicine, Philosophy,
I shall see the same face in the mirror
I, a Therapist, Fighter and Poet,
who toiled so much to gain
the recognition of those who adore You.
Nothing did I desire more ardently in life
and for no other thing did I strive so to achieve
Whether I succeeded or not, history will show.
The moment will come when I shall depart but you shall remain,
many other after me shall toil as well
to adore You, sacrificing their life,
to that perpetual spiral of time,
an eternal dance of energy and matter.
